Hi, I’m Melina — the heart and hands behind Whispering Pines Co. My love for weddings didn’t arrive in one big moment; it showed up in pieces over the years. It was in the early mornings spent designing florals, the late nights working catering shifts, the weekends setting up events long before anyone arrived, and the hours shadowing DJs while watching couples light up the dance floor. Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t just helping with weddings… I was falling in love with the magic of them.

What I treasure most now as a coordinator is the quiet, powerful in-between moments: the deep breath a bride takes before walking down the aisle, the way a parent squeezes their child’s hand, the laughter around the tables, the tiny details that make a day feel like you. My job is to anticipate, to protect the joy, and to make space for you to be fully present. I’m the calm voice, the steady hands, the person making sure the timeline flows—so you don’t have to think about any of it.

This path wasn’t something I planned (which still makes me laugh), but it has become the most natural and fulfilling part of my life. Being invited into such a meaningful moment for two people is a privilege I don’t take lightly, and it’s the reason I show up with my whole heart every single time. I can’t wait to meet you and be part of the day you’ll remember forever.

And when I’m not investing my energy into weddings and events, you’ll find me adventuring with my three kids—camping under the pines, rafting the rivers, snowboarding in the winter, or holding out hope that the Minnesota Vikings will finally bring home a Super Bowl ring.
